SUMMARY: Works with the management team to achieve stated objectives in guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation, revenues, cost control and employee motivation and retention.
Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, safety, health, environment and other regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: â–¡ Strong ability to create and maintain a distinctive BURGERFI culture- one that rewards team members for exceptional service and delights our guests every time they visit.
â–¡ Effectively and efficiently manage a restaurant by following the BURGERFI best practices and BURGERFI DNA to ensure Guest satisfaction and profit maximization.
â–¡ Manage day to day operations during a scheduled shift that includes daily decision making, Team Member support, Guest interaction, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, Product quality, and cleanliness.
â–¡ Optimize profit by scheduling labor efficiently and ordering food and supplies to maintain appropriate inventory.
â–¡ Prepare end of shift reports including Daily labor, Food Control, and Daily sales.
â–¡ Increase sales by ensuring guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution.
â–¡ Exemplify and recognize acts of leadership and quality to ensure 100% Guest satisfaction.
â–¡ Ensure the environment in the restaurant supports the BURGERFI culture.
â–¡ Responsible for compliance with OSHA, local health and safety codes as well as BURGERFI safety and security policies.
Ensure the team is following safe work behavior standards.
â–¡ Ensure adherence to BURGERFI cash handling and payment processing procedures.
â–¡ Responsible for the selection, on boarding and retention of Team members through motivation, recognition, coaching, and development.
â–¡ Regularly measure and evaluate guest service standards by using various feedback tools to develop and implement plans for continuous guest service improvement.
â–¡ Adhere to Federal, State and local laws in addition to BURGERFI policy (regulate compliance with work authorization/alcohol service/wage and hour laws and, where applicable, break requirements), holds team members accountable to these standards.
â–¡ Set performance expectations and monitor steps to success process to ensure the quality of training.
â–¡ Prepare and conduct performance appraisals within the assigned department and take any necessary disciplinary action in line with BURGERFI standards.
â–¡ Ensure complete and timely execution of Trello communication.
â–¡ Directly supervise 20-30 FOH/BOH employees.
â–¡ Champion abs adhere to all BURGERFI standards and policies including the Non- Negotiables, DNA, and Business plan.
â–¡ Protect Company assets and prevent/diffuse situations that create potential risks to the Organization.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS: â–¡ Occasionally, based upon business needs, performs all FOH/ BOH functions including food preparation, cooking, cleaning, serving and greeting guests.
â–¡ Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
REQUIRMENTS: â–¡ Must be at least 21 years of age.
â–¡ A minimum of three (3) years of prior restaurant experience, with a demonstrable record of success as a manager for no less than one (1) year.
â–¡ Record of maintaining a high standard in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
â–¡ High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
â–¡ Passion for the business and compassion for people.
â–¡ Highly-Energetic, self-motivated, goal-oriented and dependable.
â–¡ Good oral and written communication skills, and outstanding leadership, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
â–¡ Basic business math and accounting skills, strong analytical / decision-making skills.
â–¡ Basic personal computer literacy.
â–¡ Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
â–¡ Must be willing to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.
Reliable transportation required.
â–¡ ServSafe certified preferred.
â–¡ Some exposure to P&L statements a plus.
