### Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Daycare Teacher to join our team.
As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and enriching environment for children under your care.
You will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate activities, promoting social and emotional development, and ensuring the well-being of each child.
Pay commensurate with experience.
### Duties
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning and development in areas such as language, math, science, and art
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and play
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- Assist with daily routines such as mealtime, naptime, and toileting
- Encourage independence and self-help skills in children
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques
- Ensure proper hygiene practices are followed by all children
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive learning environment
### Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting Preferred but not required
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to educate and engage young learners through creative teaching methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- First aid certification is preferred but not required
- Experience working with infants and toddlers is a plus
