Faulkner University is seeking a qualified individual to serve as International Student Admissions Specialist.
This individual will coordinate recruitment and admissions services for international students, learn and apply federal regulations pertaining to the reporting of international students and ensure high quality evaluation of foreign academic credentials.
The selected individual will function as a Designated School Official and Responsible Officer to issue visa documents and handle admission-related immigration issues for current and prospective students.

This is a full-time (40+ hours per week) position.
Summary of Duties:
Oversee the development and implementation of specific marketing and recruitment strategies for international students
Initiate contact and provide follow-up with applicants and prospective students
Coordinate international admissions services; participate in planning and implementing orientation activities
Collect and review documents submitted for admissions
Determine eligibility of international scholarships for international non-athletes
Work with coaches to assist and advise prospective international athletes regarding required documentation and needs in the admissions process
Monitor compliance with government regulations with FERPA and Department of Homeland Security regulations
Collaborate with staff and outside agencies in resolving prospective student issues relating to admission and all pre-arrival issues
Qualifications:
Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of 1 year related experience preferred
Active member of the church of Christ
