Currently, Envolve is searching for an accounting manager to work in the Montgomery, AL office.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein.
Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary.
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the following:
* Review, reconcile, analyze, and finalize monthly financial statements for 30 +-properties.
* Regular and predictable attendance
* The ability to work cooperatively with others.
* Ability to meet established deadlines and quality standards for accuracy and completeness of work performed.
* Responsible for ensuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times for yourself and the company.
* Management of cash payments and insuring funds for payment.
* Review and make adjustments to general ledger as necessary.
* Review and make adjustments to tenant ledgers as necessary.
* Review financial data and provide reports as requested to management, vendors, and third parties.
* Supervision of 2-3 property accountants.
* Provide support and assistance to other corporate departments and property personnel as needed.
* Coordinating audit requests and reviewing audit reports.
*REQUIREMENTS:*
* *Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting or Finance Administration required.
*
* Proficient with Microsoft Office products, excel, and computer accounting systems.
* 5+ years experience in accounting
* Experience with Yardi or other property management software preferred but not required.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience with journal entries, General Ledger, Payables, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, month end close.
* Must be able to read and understand financial statements (income and balance sheet) and their relationships with debits and credits.
