*SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE*
Responsible for ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
Responsible for company safety and training programs.
*EDUCATION *
BS in Environmental Engineering or closely related field preferred
*JOB EXPERIENCE*
Over 2 years’ experience in manufacturing.
Prior experience working with regulatory agencies, i.
e.
local water board, ADEM, EPA, etc.
*KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Ensure company compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
* Collaborate with others and business to address EHS issues.
* Inform management, company employees, and other interested parties of EHS issues.
* Develop, coordinate, and maintain training plan, to include training material calendar and matrix.
* Provide administrative support for projects by collecting data, providing project documentation, training staff, and performing other general administrative duties.
* Assist in budget implementation, forecasts, and administration.
* Other duties as assigned.
*KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED*
* Ability to speak in front of large groups and communicate ideas effectively.

Power Point, Excel, Microsoft Word, Access, and standard office equipment.
* Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory requirement.
* Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
* Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, walk up and down steps, and lift objects when necessary.
