Operations Team Leader (Yard Control)

*Responsibilities: * \*Training of all team members(SOP's, training sheets, one point lessons, etc.
).
\*Ensure that all parts arrives to the customers in a timely manner via picking trollies.
\*Ensure good communication with team members and supervisor.
\*Operational Knowledge of the GCS,PDA,SAP,JIS,JIT,and HMMA Overview employees.
\*Must fully understand how to calculate on time shipments using HMMA employees.
\*Must be open to other duties as assigned by management and/ or movement to the other areas as needed.
\*Must be able to provide operational support to all Glovis Departments.
*Requirements: * \* High School Diploma or equivalent.
\* 3 years of extensive experience in Manufacturing Distribution Center.
\* 1-3 years preferred experience in Logistics environment.
\* Must work an eight hour shift.
\*Must be able to operate a forklift.
\* Must be proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office Suite software.
\*Must be able to push, pull,& lift up to 50lbs on a reular basis and physically load/unload dollies with parts in them.
\*Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math functions such as, addition, subtraction, and and multiplication.
Must be able to stand, kneel, squat, and walk for long periods of time.
\*Must be able to problem solve, form countermeasures for issues, and analyze results from day to day department operations.
\*Must be able to identify and implement safety procedures.
\*Must be able to communicate effectively with management and outside vendors.
\*Must have strong knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing process and warehouse management experience.
\*Mush have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proficient with Excel, Word, and database management.
\*Must be detail-oriented.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.
