*Auto Shop Manager * We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Auto Shop Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto mechanics and possess excellent leadership and organizational skills.
As the Auto Shop Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage a team of mechanics, and ensure the efficient and effective functioning of our auto repair shop.
*Responsibilities:* • Manage and supervise a team of auto mechanics, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Schedule and prioritize repair and maintenance jobs to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure all repairs are completed accurately and in a timely manner, meeting quality standards.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies, ordering as necessary to support shop operations.
• Handle customer inquiries, provide estimates, and communicate effectively to address any concerns or questions.
• Monitor and maintain equipment and tools to ensure safety and proper functioning.
• Uphold workplace safety standards and enforce proper procedures to minimize risks and accidents.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary materials and services.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to improve shop operations and services.
*Requirements:* • Proven experience as an auto mechanic, with a strong understanding of automotive systems and repairs.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in computer systems and software used in auto repair shops.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in an automotive repair environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
