Responsibilities: Establish quality vision for the center.
Manage adherence to quality standards in accordance mission and with Department of Human Resources (DHR), and Child Nutrition Program (CNP) polices, procedures, and guidelines.
• Develop general educational curriculum; collaborate with staff to develop positive learning activities; manage adherence to state and local regulations.
• Maintain student records in accordance with established enrollment procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain communications with parents of current and prospective students through direct conversation, newsletters, and parent handbook.

• Create weekly menus in compliance with CNP guidelines, place pickup order for cook, and ensure all reports and documentation are completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Maintain positive relationships with regulatory agencies; ensure legal and financial compliance.
• Plan, organize, and implement programs, fundraisers, field trips, and family engagement activities • Oversee all office functions including payroll, accounts payable and receivable, tuition billing and payment, and personnel management (staff supervision) and purchasing.
• Resolve conflicts (including corrective action when necessary) to ensure a positive experience for everyone.
• Manage budget planning and review.
• Knowledgeable of illness and emergency procedures; ensure staff is trained appropriately.
• Develop professional development and training plans to ensure the continued growth of center staff.
*Minimum Requirments* *Education:* A child development associate credential (CDA) or a certified child care professional certificate (CCP) from the National Child Care Association Inc.
(NCCA) and a high school diploma or general educational diploma (GED); at least 12 hours working experience as a child care worker/teacher or as a director/program director in a licensed daycare center or a Department approved setting.
OR An associate degree in child development or early childhood education from a post-secondary school (technical, vocational, junior/community college), and at least 9 hours of working experience as a child care worker/teacher or as a director/program director in a licensed daycare center or a Department approved setting.
OR A bachelor's degree in child development or early childhood education and at least 6 months of working experience as a child care worker/teacher or as a director/program director in a licensed daycare center or a Department approved setting.
*Experience* Two years of supervision *Additional Knowledge and Skills Required:* • Strong oral and written communications skills; basic computer skills.
• Ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
• A strong understanding of child development.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to obtain within first 30 days of hire.
• Must clear fingerprint background check.
Candidate will be required to cover the cost of the fingerprint background check.
• Must clear the Child Adult Neglect background check (CAN).
• Must complete 12 hours of training within the first 30 days of hire.
