*POSITION OVERVIEW* The Director of Information Technology and Project Management, reporting to the Chief Business Officer, provides innovative leadership and management to the Information Technology team and Project Management Office and is responsible for system-wide planning, management, security, and coordination of the technology resources and projects.
The Director of IT and PM plays a key role in supporting the company’s strategic goals and initiatives.
This leader is responsible for information technology policies, planning, and budget management; information systems deployment and management; centralized IT procurement; information security and IT services; infrastructure and network services; client support activities; computer and equipment maintenance and allocations; project RFPs and initiation; data extraction and analytics; and ensuring the quality and timeliness of all projects.

_ * Oversight of the development and maintenance of Insurance systems.
* Oversight of IT services, staff, vendors, and operations, including the network and infrastructure, enterprise applications, and client support.
* Oversight of information security policies, procedures, practices, and compliance.
* Oversight of the maintenance of the Business Continuity Plan and Scenarios, the Cyber Incident Response Plan, the Risk Assessment Tool document, and the Enterprise Risk Management document and register.
* Manages technical components of complex IT projects.
* Developing and presenting the IT budget.
* Coordinates activities of the project team, identifying necessary resources and developing schedules to meet completion deadlines.
* Identifies scope and impact of project risks and issues; raises and resolves issues.
* Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how areas of IT project leadership collectively integrate to contribute to achieving business goals.
* Persuades and influences others through communication and diplomacy skills; may negotiate with external parties.
* Ability to manage teams.
* Leads efforts surrounding reporting and data analytics *REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE* * Knowledge of technology and system integrations in the Insurance industry.
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field * 10+ years’ experience in technical system integrations * 10+ years’ experience in computer systems management * 5+ years of experience in an IT leadership role with commensurate people management experience * Experience overseeing multifaceted systems and leveraging overall system resources to deliver the optimum level of service in the most efficient manner possible.
* Experience in complex project management.
* Ability and experience in aligning technological investment * Expertise in information security frameworks and standards, best-practice policies and procedures, tools and techniques.
* Experience and enthusiasm for managing and implementing change.
* Creative ability and experience in addressing technological, organizational, and budget challenges.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills * Excellent interpersonal skills and service orientation.
* Ability to work with diverse individuals in a tactful, productive manner.
* Demonstrated success in the supervision of employees.
*PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS* * Experience with Origami Risk, IMS, or other insurance policy and claims administration systems * PMP and PMI-ACP certification *PHYSICAL DEMANDS* * Sitting for extended period is common * Hearing, vision and speaking within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents * Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds without assistance * Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer keyboard, calculator, copier fax machine, etc.
