When can you start?
Position Summary:
Performs product cost accounting functions in an automotive manufacturing environment to meet and exceed company goals and objectives.
Essential Functions:
Prepare Evaluated Receipt Settlement (ERS) supplier payments based on goods receipts, invoices, and approved purchase orders or contracts in SAP (data
management system).
Compare supplier statement information with HMMA data in SAP system; follow-up and reconcile.
Maintain and reconcile related party accounts within SAP and report.
Complete month-end close and reporting duties in a timely and accurate manner to ensure the integrity of financial statements in accordance with HMMA
policies and procedures.
Calculate estimated warranty reserves.
Process royalty payments and amortizations.
Participate in inventory audits.
Assist in the development of standard costs for new materials; perform quarterly maintenance process for standard costs in SAP.
Track, process, and report warranty & campaign claims and reclaims monthly.
Resolve costing discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
Prepare and maintain all HMA reporting.
Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management
System (SMS) requirements.
Meet all other requirements as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Education
Bachelor’s degree equivalent in Accounting desired
Related Experience
1 – 10 years of job related experience in accounting and manufacturing preferred
Skills / Knowledge
MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint desired
Knowledge of GAAP and its application in a for-profit environment
Training / Certification
Additional Information:
Position may require occasional travel (domestic or foreign).
Flexibility in working hours to include weekends, holidays, and off shift.
Position may require on-call
duty or overtime due to overall responsibility.
