Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Requisition all raw materials (i.
e.
corrugated boxes, film, pallets, packaging, labels, etc.
)
Manage BRC documents, procedures, and implementation of inventory procedures
Obtain and maintain records, keeping vendor letters of guarantee, third party audits, and vendor questionnaires
Manage shrinkage reports
Ensure maintenance of freight logs
Ensure completion of physical inventories, and posting to assigned reports
Ensure accurate physical inventory counts
Manage returned inventory process, ensuring proper credits of returned materials
Job Requirements:
Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
Experience in process improvement initiatives
Excellent organizational skills
Strong knowledge of USDA regulatory guidelines
Proven management skills in distribution operations
Proven communication, training and leadership skills
Physical/Environmental Factors:
Typical office environment within a plant setting:
Use of computer, telephone and other office equipment
May encounter frequent interruptions throughout the work day
Regularly required to sit, talk, and listen
Repetitive hand motions, and occasional standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 20 lbs
Exposure to noise levels greater than 85 decibels
Exposure to strong, raw meat odor
