JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Production Team Leader EMPLOYER: PHA Body Systems, LLC.
DEPARTMENT: Production REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor EFFECTIVE DATE: 1/1/2018 SUMMARY: The Production Team Leader is responsible for coordinating activities of a given product line.
This includes but is not limited to production, quality, and materials.
Responsibilities also include coordinating all product line activities and providing information to appropriate team members and production supervisor.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Ensures that all operations within the line are running to standard at all times.
? Enters efficiency and down time data into the database system on a daily basis.
? Ensures that team members are adhering to standard work procedures.
? Directs the activities and assigns work to all team members.
? Ensures that all team members are cross trained among the different operations in the line and are rotating among jobs at specified intervals.
? Facilitates training for new team members.
? Conducts shift start-up meetings and ensures that the PVD Boards are updated on a daily basis before shift start-up.
? Ensures that the line has enough material to maintain an efficient operation.
? Monitors the performance of line team members and provides feedback to the production supervisor.
? Assists with troubleshooting problems within the line and informs the supervisor if assistance is needed.
? Performs minor repairs to equipment, and makes adjustments as required by engineering or supervision.
? Ensures that team members adhere to designated start/stop times during the shift.
? Relieves team members when they are required to be away from the line.
? Performs quality assurance audits of products produced within the line and issues scrap reports to Quality Assurance on a daily basis.
? Records and reports line performance numbers and activities.
? Ensures that all team members are wearing all required safety apparel and adhering to all safety rules.
? Reports all unsafe conditions to supervision and corrects unsafe conditions within your capability.
? Ensures replacement of items critical to the line on a daily basis.
? Acts as a role model for fellow team members.
? Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS: 2 ? Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
? Computer skills required: o Knowledge of basic computer operations.
? Other skills required: o Must be able to maintain an excellent attendance record o Must act in an ethical and professional matter at all times COMPETENCIES: ?
