Logistics Manager

This position manages the inflow and outflow of all materials and finished goods.
Responsible for supervising individuals in purchasing, receiving, warehouse, and shipping.
Job Requirements Evaluate processes to improve efficiencies and accuracies from order entry thru manufacturing and to shipping.
Be able to complete basic functions of each area as a backup to the personnel.
Assist each area as needed based on workload.
Maintain accurate inventory records including performing cycle counts and/or annual inventory counts.
Responsible for stockroom organization.
Review open order reports received from customers to determine production needs.
Review Material Planning reports to assist purchasing.
Supervising personnel in the department to include training and disciplinary actions.
Minimum Qualifications A minimum of 5 years logistics or manufacturing experience in a manufacturing facility.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Computer literate (MS Office and ERP systems) Good communication skills and leadership experience.
Understanding of purchasing, shipping, receiving and stockroom practices.
