Job Summary:
The Maintenance Lead is responsible for planning and sustaining a preventive maintenance program that optimizes the longevity of the manufacturers warranty on all process equipment.
The Maintenance Supervisor maintains and repairs plant facilities including *electrical (up to 600V), mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing repairs* with a high standard of excellence.
They will assist in interviewing, training, and assisting other maintenance personnel.
The Maintenance Supervisor must be safety and quality minded for themselves and others.
Responsibilities:
* Strict adherence to safe work practices
* Maintain a neat, clean work area
* Prompt, timely, effective communication to management and team regarding problems with process equipment, buildings and grounds
* *Maintain and repair all vacuum corrugation extrusion equipment*
* *Maintain and repair all electrical motors (up to 600V), gas and diesel engines and tools required to maintain buildings and grounds*
* React quickly and properly to resolve problems or equipment failures and assists others
* Prepare and complete work orders and other pertinent paperwork
Occasional Duties:
* Locate parts and equipment needed for repairs or maintenance
* Interviewing
* Training
* Updates Safety Protocol as needed
Requirements/Qualifications:
* Technical school degree or equivalent experience
* High standard of safety
* Experience in plastics operations maintenance preferred
* Industrial Maintenance is a must
* Physical, mental, visual, and auditory ability to operate powered industrial equipment
* Conscientious attention to detail and quality
* Ability to effectively leadership and communication
* Ability to work full time schedule with overtime as needed
* Ability to be on call if need arises
* Welding experience preferred but not required
