General Summary:
Sales Account Executives will focus on developing new accounts and expanding existing accounts, promoting all products in Synergetics' portfolio of products and services.
Sales Account Executives perform quoting opportunities as well as the follow-up to customers for retention and customer satisfaction.
Essential Job Functions:
Prospecting of new accounts and the maintenance of existing customer accounts.
Sales Job Duties Include, but not limited to:
Prospecting/Developing new accounts in South Alabama and Florida Panhandle
Call on existing Synergetics accounts as assigned
Prepare quotes
Consult customers on services
Conduct site tours for discovery
Maintain appropriate records and documentation as defined by Synergetics Management on all work performed.
Provide timely communication to customer contacts and internally to Synergetics technical management as to status and customer satisfaction for assigned projects.
Work to identify new opportunities and customer needs and ensure that they are met.
Follow-up on all internal and customer-defined policies and procedures.
Management of Bids and Proposals.
Management of Sales Contracts and Public Sector Contracts.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Understands sales strategies
Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM, etc.
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to problem solve
Ability to build relationships with clients
Provide detailed correspondence with customers, co-workers, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments.
Ability to pay close attention to detail.
Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, educational technology, marketing, sales, or equivalent experience.
2 + years of customer service/ sales experience.
This position is for placement in South Alabama with remote and travel.
